It was the perfect night for a birthday celebration dinner while we had our fabulous Westin “staycation”!

This visit made me “true” to my word in my promise to return to Sugarnomics for breakfast since my last visit in June 2011! Sugarnomics is the home of the big “whisk” and believe me, they’ll definitely whisk you away with their imaginative culinary creations and fresh baked confections.

A refreshingly new menu launched this week at Al Dente Italian Ristorante. It is a well conceived and cleverly executed result of fine-tuning, experimenting, and pushing the envelope to achieve a masterful rendering, in short a fantastic menu!

Executive Chef Peter “the Outdoor Chef” Duenas has done it again! Always on the go and always ahead of the crowd, Chef Pete has re-vamped his menu and introduced bold new selections that reflect his creative instincts to do what hasn’t been done before.

It’s places like Kai Restaurant that make me proud and glad to be the Guam Food Guy. Actually a better word would be “ecstatic.” Eating the wonderful culinary preparations by this Japanese-style tavern’s chef and owner, Hideto “Pancho” Yanase, always seems to put me and other customers in a state of ecstasy!
