Join us for the Biba Book Club, a monthly gathering for book lovers, thoughtful conversation, and community. The Biba Book Club meets one Monday a month at 6:30pm, creating a relaxed, welcoming space to connect over great books and even better conversation. Our next meeting is Monday, April 20th. This month’s book is Robinson Crusoe, USN by George W. Tweed—a powerful true story of survival during the Japanese occupation of Guam in World War II. Tweed, a U.S. Navy radioman, evaded capture for nearly three years, relying on the courage of local Chamorro families who risked everything to protect him.

As you read, you’ll begin to see Guam through a different lens—driving around the island and seeing the jungles, cliffs, and hidden places where Tweed fought to survive, and where local heroes quietly resisted.

Haven’t finished the book yet? No problem. You’re still welcome to attend—as long as you’re okay with spoilers. The goal is connection, discussion, and shared curiosity, not perfection.

Come sip, read, listen, and share at Biba—where stories bring people together.
