TALOFOFO, GUAM — Chiefs Rugby Club, Guam’s newest rugby club established in 2025, is excited to invite the community to its inaugural summer 7v7 co-ed touch rugby tournament — the Golden Hour Cup 2026 — taking place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the George Leonard Charfauros Memorial Field in Malesso’ (next to Merizo Martyrs Memorial School).

Presented by Fujita Creamery and the Malesso’ Mayor’s Office, and brought to you by Heineken Silver, the Golden Hour Cup will bring together athletes, families, supporters, and spectators for a day of rugby, connection, and celebration, culminating with championship matches during Guam’s iconic golden hour sunset.

As a newly established club, Chiefs Rugby Club is committed to growing participation in rugby, welcoming people of all ages and experience levels, and strengthening community connections through sport.

“The Golden Hour Cup is more than just a rugby tournament—it’s an opportunity to bring people together, celebrate our growing rugby community, and showcase the hospitality and beauty of southern Guam,” said Mariana Crisostomo, Vice President of Chiefs Rugby Club. “Because most tournaments are held in northern and central Guam, we’re excited to host this event in Malesso’ and welcome the rugby community down south.”

Admission is free and open to the public.

Chiefs Rugby Club also welcomes anyone interested in playing rugby or becoming involved with the club. Weekly touch rugby sessions are held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and participants of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to attend. No prior rugby experience is required.
