In honor of Tourism Month, the Korean Guam Travel Association (KGTA) invites you to join us in a community effort to keep our island’s coastline pristine.

Tourism is the heartbeat of Guam, and preserving our natural resources is essential to ensuring our island remains a world-class destination. This cleanup at Gun Beach is a featured event in the island-wide celebration of the industry’s impact and our commitment to environmental stewardship.

Event Information

  • Date: Sunday, May 3, 2026

  • Time: 8:00 AM

  • Location: Gun Beach, Tumon

  • Theme: Supporting Tourism Month 2026

Why Participate?

May is a month of reflection and action for Guam’s largest industry. By participating, you are directly contributing to the “Tourism Works” spirit—showing that a clean environment is the foundation of a thriving community and a vibrant visitor experience.

What to Bring

  • Attire: Breathable clothing and sturdy footwear (suitable for sand and rocky areas).

  • Protection: Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses.

  • Hydration: Please bring a reusable water bottle to minimize plastic waste.

How to Get Involved

The KGTA will provide gloves and trash bags for all volunteers. We welcome tourism professionals, local residents, students, and visitors to stand together for a cleaner, greener Guam.
