The Guam Museum Honors Veterans this Weekend

7 November 2017 — (Hagåtña, Guam) In recognition of Veterans Day, the Guam Museum will be offering Veterans free admission to its exhibition and dedicating its monthly  “Ha’ånen Familia” (Family Day) to Veterans’ stories and accolades.  
 
This weekend, Friday, November 10, 2017 to Sunday, November 12, 2017, Veterans are invited to visit the Guam Museum’s latest exhibition, “Paul Jacoulet: Vision of Micronesia and Asia,” free of charge in honor and recognition of their services in the Armed Forces. 
 
Additionally, the Guam Museum has themed its monthly family programming, “Ha’ånen Familia,” in accordance with Veterans’ stories.  On Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. families and children are welcomed to hear Army Veterans Sgt. Major John Blas and Robert Celestial, share words of wisdom and the stories and meanings behind their military regalia and various uniform medals.  Families will also have the opportunity to design Veterans Day cards, which will be donated to the Guam Vet Center for display.
