September 16, Saturday: 7 am at Asan Beach - "International Coastal Cleanup Day"
Join us and volunteers around the globe for the 31st annual International Coastal Cleanup Day. Help us in our attempts to remove trash from our beaches and waterways, identify the sources of debris, and change behaviors. Although an island-wide campaign, War in the Pacific’s program will be held at Asan Beach. Join the thousands of volunteers and make a difference on your island. Service Learning credit is available.
September 16, Saturday: 2 pm at the Visitor Center - “History Revealed – War for Guam”
A presentation of the film War for Guam, by Frances Negron-Muntaner that portrays the survival of the Chamorros on the island and current reflections on the price of the war to the people of Guam. There will be a panel discussion after the film.
September 17, Sunday: 2 pm at the Visitor Center - “Science Sunday”

September 30, Saturday: 8 am at Asan Beach - “National Public Lands Day”
Join us at Asan Beach for a day of fun and service on your public lands. This year’s service project will be the restoration of two scenic lookouts along the Asan Ridge Trail. After the event relax and enjoy a BBQ and learn about some of the outstanding historical and natural resources located at Asan Beach. Family-friendly and groups are welcome.
