(Dededo, Guam November 2019)- Dusit Thani Guam Resort recently completed a bus stop beautification project in Dededo in an effort to drive environmental awareness among the community.

The project was initiated by the hotel’s energy and environmental group called “Watts Up” committee. Participation was drawn from various departments throughout the hotel including engineering, food & beverage, culinary, spa, sales and marketing, human resources, and the executive office.

The group spent three days from October 11th to 13th completing general cleaning in the area surrounding the bus stop, painting and bush cutting.

The bus stop is located on the corner of East Liguan Avenue and Macheche Road in Dededo.

The Watts Up committee participates in many community outreach projects from beach clean ups to tree planting. The Adopt A Bus Stop will undergo maintenance by Dusit Thani Guam Resort over the course of one year.
