Tamuning, Guam- Tuesday, January 10, 2023 - GTA is starting the year off right, helping our local community with a recent donation to Harvest House. Through its annual holiday giving campaign, GTA raised and donated $4,500 to the non-profit organization. A check presentation was held today at the GTA Experience Center in Tamuning.

On Giving Tuesday, November 2022, the local telecom company launched the sales of ‘We Start with You’ limited edition tote bags designed by local artist Austin Domingo. All proceeds from bag sales until the end of December 2022 benefit Harvest House, whose mission is to help children and teens in Guam develop a heart for God by providing a haven to help them grow physically, socially, mentally, and spiritually.

Nate Denight, Vice President of Marketing, says that through GTA Gives, the company continues to support foster children and families and gives local artists an outlet to showcase their talent. “GTA is deeply rooted in our community and finding ways to support meaningful causes go hand in hand with our mission to inspire the community in everything we do. We thank everyone for coming out and supporting Harvest House. We also want to thank our GTA familia for their contribution in helping us meet our goal to sell all our tote bags,” he said.

Bethany Taylor, Executive Director and Founder of Harvest House, says, “For years, GTA has come alongside Harvest House to support us with toiletry drives, volunteers, and communication support. This year, the employees and staff advocated for every foster child through their Christmas fundraising campaign GTA Gives. We love the family partnership that has been delivered. From our perspective, GTA lives up to its motto when they say, ‘We Start with You .’We extend our utmost gratitude for how their company gives hope to the foster community.”

Harvest House is also an 'Empowered by GTA' partner, staying connected through the donation of in-kind telecom services needed to help them fulfill its mission.
