(Tuesday, May 5, 2020) – Jack in the Box prepared one hundred fifty sandwiches and delivered meals to feed the doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff of Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) on Monday, May 4, 2020. The donation was made to express appreciation for the hard work of our island‘s medical professionals during this COVID-19 crisis.
Jack in the Box Manager Julz Coronel said, “We are extremely grateful to our frontline workers at GMH for always putting Guam first. Our team here at Jack in the Box, like many others in the community, we are doing all we can to support one another and those risking their lives to keep us safe.”
Coronel also added, “It is gratifying to be a part of an island community that supports GMH’s frontline medical teams. What better way to show we care than to nourish those who help others.”
Although the number of COVID-19 cases are beginning to decrease, it is important for everyone to remain vigilant and abide by government mandates.
