(Guam – Sept. 20, 2024) – The Guam Post of the Society of American Engineers (S.A.M.E.) Guam Post announced today that it launched the official Guam Industry Forum 2024 (GIF24) event management app on WHOVA, an award-winning mobile event app. The forum is scheduled for November 14-15, 2024, at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort in Tumon, Guam with the annual Charlie Corn Scholarship Golf Tournament on November 16.
The GIF24 app provides a platform to access important event information, allows audience members to submit questions for any speaker or panel discussion, and creates networking opportunities for attendees, speakers, and exhibitors before the event begins. The event’s page on the WHOVA app includes detailed information about the two-day forum and offers the following enhanced features:
Access the event agenda and exhibit map
Explore the professional profiles of event speakers and attendees
Post content and create open discussions
Send in-app messages and exchange contact info with fellow attendees
Network and find attendees with common backgrounds, shared networks, and social profiles
Receive event updates from the forum’s organizers
Registered attendees can download the WHOVA app now from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and begin establishing their profiles, planning their sessions, and engaging with fellow attendees. Registered attendees can log in with their registered email addresses to create a new account or access their previous GIF account.
Jenny Bowers, President of S.A.M.E. Guam Post, said, “The Guam Industry Forum is a well-established event that brings together the U.S. Military, the Government of Guam, and industry leaders to provide the most current insights that contractors need to successfully support military expansion projects on Guam and in the region. Our third event will be even more insightful and exciting as military projects ramp up. We invite companies to join us for two incredible days of networking and learning.”
She added, “With the launch of our official event app, GIF24 registered attendees can start networking with their peers and begin planning their sessions today.”
The Guam Industry Forum is organized with the support of the Guam Contractors Association and the Guam Chamber of Commerce.
