Hagåtña, Guam – The Guam Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GWCC) proudly announces its board-elected Executive Officers for 2025. This accomplished team will lead the Chamber in advancing its mission to empower women in business through advocacy, mentorship, and networking.

Since its founding in 2013, the GWCC has grown into a driving force for change, championing workplace equality, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment for women across Guam. The Chamber’s efforts have fostered leadership, innovation, and collaboration, solidifying its role as a vital advocate for women’s voices in shaping the island’s future. This new leadership is dedicated to building on that legacy and creating an even brighter path forward.

Meet the 2025 GWCC Executive Committee

• President: Dena Rendon-Pangelinan

Dena Rendon-Pangelinan, a proud mother & dedicated advocate for women in leadership, brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning and organizational growth. As President, she will oversee GWCC’s initiatives to foster a more inclusive and empowering business environment. Over the last several years, Dena has been an active member with the Women’s Chamber - participating and growing through numerous events & fundraisers. Now in her 2nd year with the Board, she has served as Co-Chair of both the Fundraising and Women’s Business Center Committees. Dena has over 13 years of experience in Maritime Traffic & Operations Management and is currently a Board Member with the Guam Children’s Museum.”

Michaela Pangilinan-Gogue, a dedicated advocate for women in business, steps into the Vice President role. Her journey has been shaped by a desire to inspire women to embrace their talents and grow into strong confident leaders. The Chamber has fueled her commitment to creating opportunities, mentoring future leaders, and advancing a network of women who drive positive change for Guam. Michaela is the Business Development Officer at Title Guaranty of Guam. Additionally, she serves as the Vice Chair of the Next Generation Make-A-Wish Board, advisor for Junior Achievement Guam, and is a member of Guam Young Professionals. Michaela strives to support key projects and programs that uplift women in Guam’s business landscape and drive meaningful change.

Marie Calvo-Monge, known for her passion for empowering women, will ensure the smooth operation of the Chamber’s communications, records, and governance. Marie Calvo Monge is the CEO of KUAM Communications/ Pacific Telestations LLC. In addition to her leadership at the region’s premiere Media Group and NBC/CBS affiliate, Marie has also served on the boards of many local organizations including The Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation and Humanities Guahan. She is also a regional Giving Tuesday Ambassador. This is the 3rd year in her term as a GWCC board member and she co-chairs the Professional Development Committee.

Treasurer: Samantha Taitano (Guam Women’s Chamber of Commerce)

Samantha Taitano, GWCC’s Past President, will lead the management of the Chamber’s financial resources to ensure long-term success and impact. Samantha, who now works in property management and consults, has numerous years of experience in nonprofit leadership and has served on multiple boards including the Guam Homeless Coalition, the Guam Children’s Museum, and Payu-ta.
