Soldiers and Airmen of the Guam National Guard operate a vaccination clinic at the University of Guam Calvo Field House in Mangilao on Jan. 27. Named Operation Liberate Guam, the Guam Guard's vaccination initiative aims to help the Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services achieve an 80% vaccination rate for the island by July 21 - Guam's Liberation Day. Please be advised that due to increased demand for the COVID-19 vaccine, and enabled by a recent federal extension of the Guam National Guard's orders, the Guam National Guard's Joint Task Force 671 in support of the Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services will reopen the University of Guam Calvo Field House clinic starting Saturday, Sep. 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Walk-ins are welcome, but making an appointment at tinyurl.com/vaxguam will expedite the process. Please bring your appointment confirmation and proof of identity. Next week, the UOG clinic will operate from Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
