(Tamuning, Guam) Wednesday, July 23, 2025 - GTA is now accepting applications for its 2025–2026 Youth Leader Program, marking the sixth year of this initiative aimed at recognizing and supporting students who are leading positive change in their schools and communities.

The program is open to high school students in Guam enrolled for the 2025–2026 academic year with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Five finalists will each receive an iPad Air and a $1,000 academic scholarship. In addition, the top two of the finalists will be awarded up to 100,000 United Airlines miles to attend an approved educational camp, conference, or academic competition.

Created in 2019, the Youth Leader Program is part of GTA Gives, the company’s philanthropic platform that drives community engagement across education, digital equity, and youth empowerment.

“We start with youth—because they’re not waiting for the future, they’re leading it.” said Sharon Davis, Senior Vice President of Community Engagement and External Affairs at GTA. “The GTA Youth Leader Program is our way of honoring their efforts and making sure they know we see them, we believe in them, and we’re here to help them go even further.”

Full eligibility details and the online application are available at www.gta.net/youth-leader. The deadline to apply is August 17, 2025.

Through initiatives like the Youth Leader Program, GTA continues to invest in the next generation of leaders—helping students take their passion and purpose even further.
