(May 9, 2019 – Tumon, Guam) – The Guam Brewery Tap House (The Tap House), Guam’s innovative craft beer and pub concept in Tumon Bay, has expanded its hours and its menu to include a new lunch service. The new hours are from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The Tap House softly opened its doors in March 2019. Since then, The Guam Brewery’s award-winning head brewer, Mike Converse launched six proprietary beer recipes – Guam Gold Cream Ale, Tumon Bay Hoppy Blond, Old Hagåtña Honey Rye, Island IPA, Mansanita Amber Ale, and Paseo Porter – and exclusively previewed freshly brewed small batch recipes to its Founders Club Members during their first social event.
“The Tap House has been so well received that we felt it was a great time to open our lunch service,” said Mark Stotts, The Tap House’s general manager. “Brew pubs are generally known as family friendly, gathering places in the community. We thank our residents for their incredible support, and we invite them to come by to try some new menu items that Chef Jared Preuc has created especially for the lunch menu.”
The lunch menu has a wider offering of pizzas, handcrafted sandwiches and burgers and includes bestselling customer favorites -- the Tinaktak Dumplings and the Gollai Hågon Suni Dip. The Tap House offers an extensive menu of tapas, burgers, sandwiches and sides, all made with the finest ingredients. Chef Jared infuses some of the dishes with Guam Brewery beers. All dishes pair well with the Guam Brewery’s craft beers or enjoyed at any time of the day.
The Tap House team also announced exciting updates for the Guam Brewery – soon to be Guam’s first craft beer production brewery. Head Brewer Converse is overseeing the brewery’s meticulous installation of its brewing tanks and anticipates opening and canning brews by the summer.
In the month of May, The Tap House will offer special Mother’s Day menu items and is hosting Brews and Tunes every Wednesday from 7-10 p.m. The brew pub is located in the Blue Lagoon Plaza in Tumon.
