Improving your internal life is hard work, but hard work may lead to greater insight, faster personal development, and stronger motivation. Examining your beliefs is a good place to start if you want to accept who you are. Only then do you have the chance to transform yourself.

How you behave in the world depends on your beliefs, and what you think are the basic truths about the world. Regardless of what you believe, your beliefs give you a plan or guide to leading your life. The meaning we attribute to life, will determine our behavior.

Look at your beliefs and separate the helping beliefs from the hurting beliefs. Accepting your beliefs just as they can get in the way of seeing events as they really are. Step one is to untie any emotional knots holding you back from achieving your well-being. The meaning you attribute to life will determine your behavior.

Life is motion. Motion is energy. Energy is work. Work equals success. Today is a good day to start improving and changing yourself. Change your thoughts into action, your ideas into reality. Change your fear into strength, your confusion into clarity. Grown into your own skin. Have the courage to scrape off old “psychological barnacles” accumulated in the sea of life. Allow yourself to emerge in your own time in your own way. Be true to yourself and be honest with your shortcomings. Modify old self-defeating habits and patterns. Respect what you want and need and what you have to offer. Take responsibility for what you want and need.

Here are a few Instant Insights I learned while conducting group therapy: If you sincerely desire change, you must be honest with your feelings, open to feedback from others, and be willing to change. Each person must recover from their childhood and life itself. At some point in life each person must replace outmoded values and replace them with more effective ones. Intimacy is allowing yourself to be psychologically and emotionally vulnerable and truthful with your mate. You are responsible for your happiness and pleasure. You are entitled to be disappointed and depressed, but not forever. Love requires action; love must become tangible. Alone time is necessary for personal growth and development. You are entitled to happiness. Our life consists of what we are thinking about all day. You need courage to be yourself. Life is a series of changes and adjustments. Anti-social behaviors work against a guy, especially in a divorce or child custody case. Forgive your mother or father for hurting you.
