Poke is a Hawaiian dish traditionally served as an appetizer, but it can also be a main dish when served with rice or corn titiyas.

There are some places on Guam that one should not miss - one of those places is Poki-Fry House. I am probably one of a small handful of people who had not yet tried Poki-Fry House until recently.

I had not been here for some time and just dropped by with a colleague. I'd already had a late lunch but felt I could do some chasers. We sat inside their newly-remodeled dining room and were enjoying the air-conditioned comfort.  

Jeff’s Pirates Cove is a treasure chest of fascinations! It is one of those places everyone who comes to Guam must visit at some time during their stay.

I’m often asked about where to get the best seafood dinner. It’s been a bit of a challenge since so much of our seafood is imported. We do have some restaurants that specialize in seafood. How about eating great seafood only a few feet from the ocean? That narrows down the number of candidates.

While I was over checking out Asu Smokehouse, I also wanted to stop by Elaine Damian’s Shrimp Shack which is just across the walkway. Gosh, it’s been almost seven years since my last write up on The Shrimp Shack, and I’m glad to know they are still going strong!
