Hagåtña, Guam – On behalf of Diane Beruldsen, CEO of International Women’s Flag Football Association (IWFFA) and Linda Salas, President of Flag Football Ladies Association Guam (FFLAG), we are pleased to announce the “2023 IWFFA Sportswoman Asia-Pacific Region” to Ms. Denasha Mondy. Ms. Mondy has been serving the military for 15 years in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant(SSgt). Ms. Mondy has been actively involved with sports all her life. She played all types of sports from basketball, track, golf, softball, powder puff and flag football. She has been playing flag football for the past nine years playing positions such as quarterback, wide receiver, and kicker. She plays with FFLAG’s “Steel Legacy’s” team as a quarterback, wide receiver and kicker. She was nominated for the Offensive and Defensive All-Star Team as a Wide Receiver and Kicker.

The International Women’s Flag Football Association(IWFFA) honors female athletes who played phenomenally. Ms. Mondy was voted the “2023 IWFFA Sportswoman Asia-Pacific Region” amongst the local teams for FFLAG. Congratulations and best of luck to your career and success Dee.
