Tamuning, Guam (November 18, 2021) – DOCOMO PACIFIC, regional leader in innovation, telecommunications, & entertainment, supports the Veteran of Foreign Wars (“VFW”) Post 2917 organization by designating parking spaces exclusively for Veterans.

This Veteran’s Day, the VFW team installed two “Veteran Parking Only” signs at the DOCOMO PACIFIC Headquarters in Tamuning, directly in front of the Retail store. In addition, DOCOMO PACIFIC was able to purchase five additional signs for local businesses that would like to participate. Our veterans have and continue to serve unselfishly, and this small gesture provides the respect and honor they deserve not just on Veteran’s Day, but now every day.

The VFW is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard, and reserve forces. They hold various community outreach events each year. Per Brian Merenda, Commander of VFW Post 2917, they have installed over 30 signs across the island and encourage more local businesses to join in the movement. If you are interested, you can email Brian at here.
