GTA Volunteers Recognized at ceremony on Wednesday, April 24 at the GTA Experience Center in Tamuning (GTA)

(Tamuning, Guam) Monday, April 29, 2024 - GTA, Guam’s longest-serving telecom provider, proudly celebrates its team’s exceptional commitment to community service during last week’s National Volunteer Week.

“As a company deeply rooted in our community, we are proud to acknowledge the remarkable dedication of our teams during National Volunteer Week,” stated Nate Denight, VP of Product and Marketing at GTA. “Their unwavering dedication to service reflects the core values of GTA, and we stand behind their efforts to create a positive impact on Guam.”

Despite challenges such as Typhoon Mawar, GTA’s People Operations, Product Management, TAC, Smart Center teams, and Junior Achievement Mentors have displayed unwavering commitment to creating positive change in the community.

Highlighting their outstanding contributions, Sharon Davis, VP of Customer Experience, has been honored with the prestigious Community Champion Award for her advocacy across various community initiatives. Additionally, Junior Achievement Mentors Kyle Duenas, Stefanie Ditchen, and GinaRose Cruz have been recognized with the President’s Volunteer Service Award for their exceptional dedication to service.

GTA remains steadfast in its support for numerous community initiatives, including Mobile Manamko’, Empowered by GTA, Village Mural Project, Girls Code, Youth Leader, and Mental Health Awareness, alongside its partnership with Junior Achievement, among others.

The local company encourages the community to uphold the spirit of service and community, enriching lives and inspiring positive change. The company extends gratitude to all volunteers who generously give their time and resources to elevate the community year-round.
