(Tamuning, Guam) Atkins Kroll Inc., Guam’s most prolific automotive retailer, proudly marks its 110th anniversary with a generous donation of $1,914 to the Guam Senior Little League baseball team. This $1,914 donation commemorates the company’s founding year and will support the team’s ground transportation expenses as they compete in the 2024 Senior Little League World Series in Easley, South Carolina, this July.
Earlier this April, the team embarked on a remarkable journey to Auckland, New Zealand. Their participation in the Asian Pacific & Middle East Regional Tournament (ASPACME) was nothing short of extraordinary. With their outstanding performance, they clinched the Championship title, a historic achievement that has earned them a well-deserved spot in the Senior Little League World Series.
“Atkins Kroll is honored to support these remarkable young athletes as they represent Guam on the world stage. Our donation is a token of our support and belief in their potential to achieve greatness,” said Trina Cruz, Marketing & Communications Director of Atkins Kroll. “Their dedication, resilience, and sportsmanship have brought immense pride to our community. As we celebrate our 110th anniversary, we are committed to contributing and supporting the future leaders of our island.”
The upcoming Senior Little League World Series is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the boys, where they will compete against their peers for a chance to win the world championship. The entire Guam community is delighted and proud of the team’s achievements and the hard work they have demonstrated to reach this point.
Coach Kevin Acosta added, “We are thankful for Atkins Kroll’s support and belief in our youth. Donations from our community such as this one from Atkins Kroll allows us to focus on training and conditioning our boys so they make Guam proud.”
Atkins Kroll built its 110-year legacy on a commitment to the community, and this donation is a testament to that enduring mission. As the team heads to South Carolina, the spirit and support of the Guam community will be with them every step of the way.
