AK BMW to send Guam’s first BMW Golf Cup representative to the BMW Golf Cup World Finals in 2025

Tamuning, Guam. Atkins Kroll Inc., an Inchcape Company, and the authorized importer and distributor of BMW vehicles on Guam, hosted the Fourth Annual BMW Golf Cup on Sunday, May 25, 2024. One hundred golfers gathered at the Onward Mangilao Golf Club for a Single Callaway format tournament. For the first time, Guam’s BMW Golf Cup served as a qualifier for the BMW Golf Cup World Finals planned for March 2025 at a destination yet to be announced. During the awards dinner, Jung Bum Jin was announced as the overall winner with the highest single Callaway score and will represent Guam next year. Jin is also the winner in the men’s division and Kumjoo Royal took the top spot in the women’s division.
Jin and a companion will be treated to a world-class experience with an exclusive itinerary planned by BMW. BMW hosts the finals event to show appreciation for its customers while providing once-in-a-lifetime experiences for BMW owners.

The Guam BMW Golf Cup is an invite-only Single Callaway tournament format for men and women. The Onward Mangilao Golf Club’s breathtaking coastal views, pristine fairways, and perfectly manicured greens served as the ideal backdrop for the event. Participants had four chances during the tournament to win a BMW X3 or i4 at designated holes. The hole-in-one contests were made possible by returning tournament sponsors ASC Trust Corporation, Bank of Hawaii, Calvo’s Insurance, and First Hawaiian Bank.

The all-electric BMW i5 launches on Guam.
During the BMW Golf Cup, AK exclusively unveiled the new BMW i5 luxury sedan to its guests. The BMW i5 is the fourth fully electric vehicle in the iFamily lineup introduced by BMW in Guam. Within the last year, BMW unveiled the iX, Guam’s first all-electric luxury Sport Activity Vehicle; the i7 sedan, the flagship of BMW’s electric lineup; and the i4 sedan.
The BMW i5 offers customizable drive modes and abundant torque. With a battery capacity of up to 81.2 kWh and a range of 240 to 295 miles, the i5 is pure driving pleasure. Guests learned about the Home Charging Package — the Wallbox Charger that can be mounted in a home garage or wall and the portable Flex Charger — that are provided with every BMW iFamily vehicle purchase.
As with all BMW models, the i5 includes BMW’s standard safety features like Active Blind Spot Detection and Lane Departure Warning, and the i5 comes with three years of premium maintenance and an eight-year/100,000-mile battery warranty.
