Proceeds benefit student exchange program between Taiwan and UOG

The UOG Endowment Foundation is partnering with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Kavalan Whisky, Lucky Supplies, and the Guam Musuem to host a whisky tasting fundraiser to benefit a student exchange program between UOG and Taiwan.

The event will take place at the Guam Museum on November 4, 2022, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Proceeds will go towards a Taiwan student exchange program which will send agriculture and life sciences students at UOG to the Kavalan Distillery manufacturing site in Taiwan to study abroad and gain experience in an industry and manufacturing setting.

“We are excited to work with partners who are investing in our students,” said Kat Perez, UOGEF Executive Director. “Through these collaborative efforts, UOG students can explore career possibilities in Guam and Taiwan.

Guests must be 21 years of age to attend, and tickets are $100 each. To purchase tickets, contact UOGEF at (671) 735-2957 or visit here.
