I can't remember how many times I've gone to Islander Terrace's theme night buffets over the years. It's always exciting though when they change an evening and try something new and different. This time they really nailed it with an impressive spread of Vietnamese classics.
A new Vietnamese sandwich restaurant recently opened in Tamuning (Cinema Arcade). I visited on a Sunday and they had only been open maybe just a week or two.
This little Vietnamese treasure located on the Ground Floor of the ITC Building next to the House of Brutus has been mentioned several times in this newsletter and I've written two complete reviews over the years.
I have to give a nod to MBJ for a small feature on developments in Yigo, with new establishments like Cafe Panadero, KFC, and VietBowl, which really caught my eye since there was a mention of a certain Vietnamese delicacy, Banh Mi (the Vietnamese Sandwich).
I had first heard about Pho Basi while listening to Ray Gibson describing his favorable dining experience there shortly after they had opened. They have only been open for about two months, so it was time to go and visit.
Though I’d been to Saipan scores of times since Truong’s had opened here, I had yet to visit there to eat until recently. Thank goodness I was accompanied by my work colleagues who are always up to one of our great food sharing adventures!!
Pho Cafe Vietnamese Restaurant has only been open a few months but they have established a loyal and steadily growing customer base by serving big portions of tasty food at affordable prices.
