The 13th Korea International Marine Leisure Week (KIMA WEEK 2025) will take place from August 14 to 17 at Dadaepo Beach, offering a packed schedule of beach activities, performances, and hands-on marine sports experiences.
Launched in 2013 to promote marine leisure culture and industry, the festival rotates between Busan’s major beaches. This year’s main stage, KIMA BEACH, will transform Dadaepo into a hub for seaside entertainment and relaxation.
KIMA BEACH Main Events (August 14–17, Dadaepo Beach)
Experience Zone (August. 14–16, 3:00–8:00 pm): Join games, crafts, and eco-friendly programs inside traditional Mongolian tents.
Indie Band Performances (August 15–16, 7:00–8:00 pm): Live music to heat up the festival nights.
Beach Yoga (August. 16–17, 6:00–7:00 pm): Sunset yoga sessions led by professional instructors.
“Meong-hae” SUP Meditation (August 15–16, 6:00–8:00 pm): Stand-up paddleboard sessions for meditation and relaxation on the water.
Marine Leisure Experiences (Throughout August) Festivalgoers can also enjoy a variety of water sports across Busan:
Gwangalli Beach: Stand-up paddleboard (SUP), jet boat, banana boat
Suyeong River: Cruise tours
Suyeongman Yacht Stadium: Yacht tours
Dadaepo Beach: Surfing, SUP
Songjeong Beach: Surfing
Activities can be booked in advance at discounted rates through the “HolicJam” mobile app, with limited spots for each program.
Marine Leisure Tourism Forum (Sepember. 12–13, Korea Maritime & Ocean University) The festival concludes with an academic and industry forum, where over 100 participants will discuss strategies to enhance the competitiveness of the marine tourism industry.
