This Saturday April 2, 2022 between 11:00 AM to 11:30 the new 2022 Officers will be sworn in at the American Legion Mid-Pacific Post 1, 149 E Atty Alberto Lamorena St, 96913 Tamuning, Guam, Guam.

The list of officers:

Post Commander: John Haley.

1st Vice Commander: Jerry Yingling.

2nd Vice Commander: Deuce Romias.

Adjutant: Mike Soderquist.

Finance Officer: Chris Toran.

Sgt. At Arms: Will Smith.

Chaplain: Position open.

Service Officer: Allen Jackson.

Judge Advocate: Fred Peters.

Historian: Jim Solley.

Member at Large: Charlie Belski.

Member at Large: Charlie Martratt.

Member at Large: Chuck Beck.

All new officers will serve for a one year term with elections held every February.

The American Legion Mid-Pacific Post 1, established on August 26, 1930, is the oldest American Legion post in the Western Pacific. The American Legion is the nation’s largest veterans’ organization representing over three million men and women who have served in this country’s armed forces. The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, mutual-help, war-time veterans’ organization. Today, there are nearly 15,000 American Legion Posts worldwide, organized into 55 Departments, one each for the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, France, Mexico, and the Philippines.
