Every Saturday, Guam Boonie Stompers offers public hikes to a variety of destinations such as beaches, snorkeling sites, waterfalls, mountains, caves, latte sites, and World War II sites. We meet at the trailhead on Saturdays at 9 AM. Directions to the trailhead will be posted on the Guam Boonie Stompers Inc Facebook page. The cost is $5.00 for hikers over 17. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Hikers should provide their own transportation. Guam’s trails are not developed. Weather conditions can make the hikes more difficult than described. No reservations required. November 19 Fouha Medium 1.5 miles Explore an area that has a significant part in one of Guam’s most enduring legends. We will head down a trail that will pop us right out onto the beach. From there we will journey to this legendary Fouha Rock. If the tide is right, we will continue to the pools to do some swimming. Very Kid friendly! Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking shoes, gloves, sun screen, snacks, and camera (Snorkel and/or kids floaters to swim if tide is right) Special Conditions: Possible mud, walking through water, and steep slope up and down. Nov. 26 Togcha River Difficult 3 miles We travel through the river and vegetation to find caves & waterfalls. We will head up the Togcha River, going over and under vines, roots, and through mud. Along the way we will explore a few caves and then some waterfalls. Special Conditions: Crawling through mud, steep slopes up and down, river walking, cave exploring, and Fire Ants. Bring: 3 liters water, sturdy shoes that can get wet, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, headlamp, and camera. Long sleeves with hood and pants recommended for fire ants. Special conditions: Sword grass, river crossing, rope climb, and a muddy swamp. Parking Location: Google Maps or Apple Maps: 13.369352, 144.752569 (side of the road)
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
For 49 years the Guam Boonie Stomps have kept our hiking fees at $2 for those over 12 and children free. However, the inevitable erosion of inflation and the dramatic increase in prices the last few years have finally forced us to increase our hike fees. With the aim of keeping Boonie Stomps an affordable, family friendly activity, the Guam Boonie Stompers will implement the following fee schedule starting April 1:
Adults (18 and up) - $5 per person Children and Teens (below 18) - Free Gloves (if needed) Free

Stomp tips:
Alcohol and hiking do not mix.
Do not bring beverages with caffeine on hikes.
Bring plenty of water with you on hikes.
Do not hike alone and let someone know where you are going and your return time.
Always bring a flashlight in case your return is delayed.
