The University of Guam Endowment Foundation invites the community to tune into the third and final episode of its three-part TV series, “Lina’la-ta Trilogy: The Musical Odyssey Continues.”

The series seeks to honor and rekindle a deeper appreciation of the history, music, and heritage of the CHamoru people. With various musical performances and interviews, the TV special is designed to evoke nostalgic feelings and reconnect the younger generation with their roots.

“The Lina’la-ta series was created to showcase the talents and history of our island musicians. This series will immortalize their legacy and offer future generations the opportunity to enjoy a glimpse of our island music and culture,” said UOGEF Chairman Jesse Leon Guerrero.

The final episode will showcase various CHamoru artists and focus on how CHamoru music continues to evolve over time.

The final episode is scheduled to air on:

  • Thursday, July 28, 8 p.m. on GNN GTA Channel 17

  • Saturday, July 30, 3 p.m. on KUAM TV 8

  • Saturday, July 30, 7 p.m. on KUAM TV 11

  • Sunday, July 31, 7 p.m. on KUAM TV 11

The series is presented by the UOG Endowment Foundation in partnership with Bank of Guam, BG Investment Services Inc., Ada’s Trust & Investment Inc., GTA, Guam Premier Outlets, KUAM, and Moylan’s Insurance Underwriters Inc. The Lina’la-ta Trilogy is a Shooting Star Production.
